Welcome to Arroyo Vista YMCA Campaign Page
ANNUAL CAMPAIGN IS HERE!!!
WHAT IS CAMPAIGN??????
As a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening community the Y has a need to raise charitable funds. These funds ensure all community members have access to the Y and advance programs that address community needs in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Charitable funds provide
Financial assistance to low-income families who cannot afford the full program rate
The goal of a well-run campaign includes making sure everyone involved (staff, volunteers, and donors) understands that when they give to the Y they help make lasting personal and social change in the lives of others in the community. The Annual Campaign ensures that every child, adult, and family has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.
See below how Annual Campaign, the YMCA, and community donations have benefited those right her in our community:
“Jackie and her mother have been struggling for some time now. They have been jumping from shelter to shelter in search of a better opportunity and a more stable life. The school principal reached out to the YMCA in hopes of helping Jackie and her mother. Jackie lovescoming to our program and often times gets upset if mom picks her up early. Having other children to interact with in a safe and friendly environment is a blessing to mom. ‘I love that Jackie likes to be at the Y, she is not shy anymore,’ mom commented to the staff.
-Child Care Director
“Four years ago, I made a terrifying choice to leave my daughter’s father after suffering multiple cases of domestic violence, threats on my life and verbal abuse. Having the supportof the YMCA was just the change I needed! The reduced cost care that the YMCA provides has given me the opportunity to build a life that I am proud of. To each of you that has donated your time, money, and efforts… Thank you for being an integral part of my success story. There is no way that I would be here today without your help along the way. Your generosity has allowed me to THRIVE!”

Attend the PAC meeting this upcoming Tuesday at 6:00pmto learn more about how you can get involved!
Get Ready, Get Set, CAMPAIGN!
The communities we serve and you call home are in need. And it is time…time to make a change. Time for our children to have needed resources. Time for families to be supported. Time for communities to be strengthened.
The YMCA’s commitment to our community is to ensure that everyone is able to participate in our programs, regardless of their ability to pay. It is through our Annual Campaign that we are able to raise funds to support our financial assistance scholarships and subsidy for programs serving low-income and marginalized populations.
This is a cause that is important to me. That’s why I am one of many proud to volunteer for Annual Campaign.
The YMCA has been helping people throughout our community to learn, grow and thrive for more than 131 years. Whether it’s fighting youth obesity, teaching drowning prevention or providing financial assistance so that all people may access our programs and services, the Y is there to meet the needs of our neighbors and make our community stronger.
The need for impact is now. We exist to improve lives and strengthen character but we need your help to do so. Because where there is a need, there is the Y!
